Your question points out one of the weaknesses of the Google-approach to college ranking: it depends upon the regular use of specific words like "college" or "university" in an institution's name. A university that has "Institute" as its formal name — such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an excellent school by almost any measure — will generally not appear in a "university" Google-ranking. But this may be an opportunity as well. I will have to try searching on the word "Institute" and see what rankings Google will return. Thank you for the kind words, Rafiul.
